7年以上のメンテナンス経験を持つジョニーは、学生寮に関する豊富な知識を持ってコーダに入社しました。Jonnyは長年、主にキャンパス外の学生寮のメンテナンス・スーパーバイザーとして働いてきました。Codaの住民の方々の基準を満たすような設備を維持することで、少しでも快適な生活を送れるようお手伝いできることに興奮しています。
シラキュースで生まれ育ったジョニーは、The Codaを新しい住まいとして選ぶ居住者のために、家庭のような環境を作る手助けをしながら、強いコミュニティ意識を育むことで、この地域に対する愛情を促進したいと考えています。ジョニーは、建物の安全性、快適性、ウェルビーイングが、新しい居住者がThe Codaですぐにくつろげる手助けになると信じている。

Coming from Syracuse, where she’s lived her entire life, she takes pride in building strong connections with the residents she serves. Maurice Brown

Maurice is an exemplary model of determination. With over 25 years of experience in the HVAC industry and 7+ years of experience working in Plant Utilities, Maurice is poised to be an excellent addition to the Coda family. Utilizing his mechanical aptitude and experience in Plant Utilities building maintenance, Maurice can effectively perform assigned tasks, completing work orders in a most efficient manner.
As a dedicated problem solver, in opposed to concentrating on the problem itself, Maurice would much rather concentrate on a solution. In addition to problem solving on a mechanical level, his people skills allow him to show compromise in efforts of resolving potentially problematic situations within the Coda community. In short, he’s a “people’s person “who likes to fix things. Maurice’s enthusiasm is infectious and helps to create an atmosphere of exciting fellowship. When you’re at The Coda and you hear someone cheer “we got action”, you’ll know that it’s your friend “Mo”.

With over a decade of experience maintaining over 10 properties, Nathaniel brings unmatched dedication and expertise to our team as Lead Porter. Previously responsible for CNY 6 and four additional locations, Nathaniel has a deep understanding of property care and cleanliness.
Born and raised in Syracuse, NY, Nathaniel recently returned home after living in Wilmington, NC. When he’s not ensuring our properties are in top shape, he enjoys spending quality time fishing and taking his grandchild on bike rides. His commitment to both family and work makes him a valued member of our community.
John Cayea

John brings over four years of maintenance experience and five years as a drywall finishing team lead to the Coda team. With a strong background in both student housing and construction, he offers a unique skill set that helps ensure the Coda and the Mayflower remain the best on the hill.
A lifelong Central New York resident, John knows how important it is to truly love where you live. He takes pride in bringing that same sense of comfort and community to residents and visitors. His approachable nature and problem-solving mindset make him someone people can count on, whether it’s a quick fix, a larger project, or simply lending an ear to a concern. John values building relationships as much as he values building spaces, and he works hard to make every resident feel at home.
Recognized for his reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to listen, John takes pride in addressing residents’ needs with care and attention. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée and daughter, as well as playing Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons with friends. John is excited to contribute his skills to the community and help maintain the Coda and the Mayflower at the highest standard.

Divina is a Psychology major and Education Studies minor at Syracuse University, originally from the Bronx, NY. With a strong background in customer service, consulting and student engagement, she values communication, patience, and genuine care in every interaction.
Over the years, she expanded her experience through consulting work in diversity, development, and talent strategy with organizations like Elloree Talent Strategies and NYPR. These roles strengthened her ability to connect with others, foster inclusion, and approach each situation with empathy and professionalism.
Outside of work, Divina stays involved in mentorship programs with local Syracuse schools, involved with many on campus organizations and leads service initiatives focused on youth empowerment and community growth. This internship continues to strengthen her communication and problem-solving skills, preparing her for future roles that center on people, service, and community impact.
